In 1930, my Great Grandfather opened a photographic shop in Puerto Rico, called The Thirty Nine Photo Shop. The name originated from the cost of processing a roll of film - which was $0.39. The shop developed film, printed photos, and sold cameras and materials for printing.

The last shop closed in the late 1950s, and some 70+ years later, I am bringing it back to life. The branding has been recreated to match the original logo, found on an envelope from the original shop.

My hope is to continue the legacy of processing film, while also finding ways to create an authentic community around film. I appreciate the support, and look forward to developing (pun intended) this community together.
